The following guide has a medium to easy difficulty. If you are not sure, then ask your installer to help you or contact us for help
Note* If your inverter is stable, upgrading the unit is unnecessary.
Safety Precautions:
Ensure the inverter is consistently powered throughout the upgrade process.
Keep the battery connected during the entire upgrade.
Use a PC to prepare a U-disk with a capacity of less than 32GB, formatted to FAT16 or FAT32.
Important Note:
Do not use a USB3.0 U-disk. The inverter’s USB port only supports USB2.0.
Upgrade Steps:
Obtain and Prepare the Update Files:
Contact customer support to receive the firmware update files. Extract these files onto your U-disk in the following directory structure:
update/master/K10_Master_Vx.xx.bin
update/slave/K10_Slave_Vx.xx.bin
update/manager/K10_Manager_Vx.xx.bin
Note: Replace ‘x.xx’ with the actual version number. Ensure the directory structure and file names are exactly as specified to prevent the inverter from malfunctioning.
Install the U-disk:
Open the waterproof cover on the inverter and insert the U-disk into the USB port located at the bottom.
Select and Confirm Upgrade:
The inverter’s LCD will display an upgrade menu. Use the up and down buttons to navigate through the options. Select the component you wish to update and press “OK” to start the upgrade.
Complete the Upgrade:
Once the upgrade process is complete, remove the U-disk and securely screw back the waterproof lid.
